Common Faults And Solutions Of Vibration Motors

The vibration motor is an excitation source that combines the power source and the vibration source. A set of adjustable eccentric blocks are installed at each end of the rotor shaft, and the excitation force is obtained by the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the shaft and the eccentric block.

Reasons why the vibration motor cannot be started

1. The stator winding is short-circuited between phases, the stator winding is open-circuited, and grounded

2. Wrong connection of stator winding

3. The load is too heavy or the rotor is blocked

Solution

  1. Check the open circuit, short-circuit grounding part, and repair it

  2. Check the winding wiring and correct it

  3. Lighten the load and remove obstacles

Vibration motor temperature rise is too high or smoke causes

1. Overload

2. Winding short circuit

3. Wrong winding connection

4. Winding grounding or short circuit between turns

5. The rotor of the vibration motor is broken

6. The stator and rotor are rubbed

Solution

1. Reduce the load or replace the vibration motor.

2. Repair the short-circuit part.

3. Check the winding wiring and correct it.

Bearing overheating reasons

1. Bearing wear or quality problems

2. Too much or too little bearing grease, wrong type or bad quality

3. The fit between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft is too loose or too tight

4. The fit between the bearing outer ring and the end cover is too loose or too tight

5. The assembly quality of the end cover and the bearing inner cover is not good

Solution

1. Replace the bearing

2. Adjust the grease

3. When it is too loose, a circle of metal can be welded on the shaft for reprocessing. When it is too tight, the bearing gear can be reprocessed.

1. Poor grounding
