Working principle
The feed slurry enters the cyclone along the involute direction under the action of pressure. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, the large particles move downward with the external swirling flow, and low-flow products with coarse particle size and fine particles are obtained from the lower bottom outlet. The particles move upward with the internal swirling flow, and fine-grained overflow products are obtained from the upper overflow pipe.
Usage
Concentration, classification
Gypsum/ammonium sulfate concentration cyclone: mainly used for pre-concentration of desulfurization products (underflow concentration ≥50%) in processes such as limestone/gypsum method, ammonia method, double alkali method, etc., which can effectively improve vacuum belt conveyors, centrifuges and other equipment dehydration efficiency.
According to the particle size distribution of the feed, the generally designed separation particle size is ≤20 microns. The feed concentration can vary within the range of 5-20%. The underflow solids concentration can reach 40-60% and the overflow concentration can reach 2-5%. .
According to the process requirements of wet desulfurization, reasonable cone angle, overflow port, and underflow port sizes are selected to increase the cyclone underflow gypsum yield and minimize the density in the absorption tower. The dehydration system can be shut down for about 6 hours a day to achieve energy saving and reduction. consumption and reduce equipment wear.
