
The vibrating screen is a commonly used equipment in mining machinery and equipment, and its vibration is mainly realized by the exciter. Many exciters use eccentric block external integral structure. The most common problem of this structure is that the bearing in the exciter has a short life, and the bearings are often heated and burned, which seriously affects the normal operation of the vibrating screen. This article shares the reasons for the failure of the exciter and the corresponding solutions.
1. During the working process of the exciter, the bearing is subjected to high-speed rotation of the eccentric block to generate a large radial force. Due to the unreasonable design of the lubrication and sealing structure and the insufficient lubrication of the bearing, it is the main reason that the bearing is deformed by heat and eventually burned. At present, many exciter bearings in China mainly use grease lubrication, and the seal mainly adopts labyrinth seal structure. The sealing gap is generally 1 to 2 mm. However, in the actual use process, with the increase of the bearing temperature in the exciter, the viscosity of the grease gradually decreases, the main shaft of the exciter rotates at a high speed, and the grease in the labyrinth cover leaks continuously from the labyrinth cover, which eventually leads to the lack of lubrication of the bearing. and damaged.
Treatment method: use thin oil lubrication to improve the lubrication channel, and the lubricating oil circulates to make the bearing fully lubricated.
2. The mass difference of the eccentric blocks in the group is large or the installation angle error of the eccentric blocks in the group is large, which will cause the center of the vibration source to vibrate and cause the bearing to heat up.
Treatment method: Adjust the quality and angle of the eccentric block to make it symmetrical and consistent. If the included angle or mass of the weights of the two groups of the exciter is different, the vibration direction angle and vibration force will be different, and the phenomenon of torsional vibration of the screen body will occur, which will cause the exciter to be subjected to abnormal load.
3. The fixing bolts of the exciter are loose or the anti-loose spring washers are not added, which causes the center of the vibration source to vibrate, resulting in heat damage to the exciter bearing.
Treatment method: add elastic washers when the exciter is connected. When the exciter is used for the first time, after 2h and 50h of operation, the mounting bolts for tightening the exciter should be re-checked and tightened immediately if they are found to be loose. The exciter bolts and nuts can only be used once, and they must be replaced after being tightened.
